Relocate to Mount Isa and build your dietitian career in a stable allied health team, led by a supportive manager who has been with the organisation for 15 years.
We're flexible on what this role looks like for the right candidate, with full-time or part-time options available on either a permanent basis or a fixed-term contract, including short-term arrangements such as 3 to 6 months.
Regular outreach travel to surrounding communities is required, including overnight stays away from home as needed (frequency varies depending on service needs).
Travel may involve driving or small plane flights, with travel completed during work hours where possible.
Any required after-hours travel is supported through time in lieu, and a work vehicle is provided.
Benefits
Salary from $82,858 to $105,893 + super (Pro-rata for part-time) based on experience
Salary sacrificing options up to $15,900 to help maximise your take home pay;
5 weeks annual leave plus leave loading of 17.5%;
$180 per fortnight Rental Subsidy;

Up to $3k relocation assistance for Mount Isa plus possible additional payment of up to $3k from Health Workforce Queensland for candidates who relocate and meet the criteria

About the role
Deliver evidence-based nutrition assessment,



education and intervention services for clients across the lifespan to support the prevention and management of chronic health conditions.
Develop and implement individualised nutrition care plans, monitor client progress, and evaluate outcomes to achieve the best possible health results.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, health professionals, families and community stakeholders to provide coordinated, client-centred care.
Provide community education, health promotion activities and culturally appropriate nutrition programs across clinic, outreach and telehealth settings.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, meet service delivery and funding requirements, and contribute to continuous quality improvement and organisational compliance.
Skills and experience
Current Accredited Practicing Dietitian registration (or eligibility to obtain)
Recognised Nutrition and Dietetics qualification
Current unrestricted Australian C Class Driver's Licence
Full Australian working rights
