ABOUT THE ROLE:
With the recent local and world market shift towards zero emission vehicles and benefitting from Volgren's solid focus on the design and development of innovative new bus solutions, we are looking to increase our workforce at this exciting time with talented individuals contributing to the overall success of our company.
We are looking for an After Sales Team Leader to join our team within our Pennington facility.
In this hands-on position, you will have a strong drive and motivation to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive performance, quality and safety of SA Service Centre
Continuous improvement of safe working environments and enforcing Volgren's code of conduct, safety & PPE policies
Constant Supervision of the After Sales Team to achieve KPI's
Lead and engage your team by example
Coordinate resources for addressing material shortages, delivery delays and quality concern issues
Ensure all repairs warranty/retail are adhered to within quoted hours and materials used
Maintain vehicle delivery times and dates to customers
Maintain and improve 5S principles throughout workplace
COMPETENCIES:
Strong communication skills
Strong customer focus
Accountabilities for site performance
Ability to read engineering drawings
Team building and leadership skills
High level of problem-solving ability with focus on root cause elimination
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Trade qualifications in Body Builder/Panel Beater are essential
Previous experience in leading a team of similar skill sets,
Experience in Bus and Coach After-Sales and repairs desired
This position also requires the applicant to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol analysis, musculoskeletal evaluation, and hearing test.
