About the role
We are currently seeking a Full Time Sales Coordinator to join our team in Cairns.
This role focuses on building strong relationships with tourism partners in Australia & beyond, securing sales with a focus on the dive and youth markets, as well as charter and educational groups, ensuring the continued success of Entrada Travel Group's products.
Based in Cairns, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for optimizing sales activities, providing excellent customer service, and identifying opportunities for Entrada Travel Group's products among relevant agents and customers, in selected markets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Working within the Sales Team to support product presence in market & to increase sales and experiences to local customers and agents through various sales channels.
Management of event enquiries for groups, charters, and corporate events.
To collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to audit, maintain and develop promotional campaigns and materials to support sales initiatives including regular EDMs.
Support and maintain Online Travel Agents back-end reservation systems and update availability.




Represent the company at Tourism functions and assist with hosting trade and media familiarisations.
Maintain accurate records of sales events, customer interactions, or other reporting and recording avenues, using our CRM system or other designated software.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other sales-related documentation for management review.
Manage sales enquiries, coordinate charter bookings, oversee administrative functions, and support brochure production and associated sales processes.
This role also requires flexibility to travel as required to visit clients and attend dive related tradeshows.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual with the following qualifications and skills:
Certified scuba diver or above is preferred but not mandatory, as well as a genuine interest in the underwater world.
Knowledge of the local tourism industry and familiarity with key attractions, activities, and events in the region.
Experience in sales, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.




Enthusiasm for promoting tourism and contributing to the growth of the OTA, Group and Charter Market.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Reservations systems such as Respax and CRM Software.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
