Full-Time Marina Dockmaster
to join our operations team.
This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and has a genuine passion for the marine industry and customer service.
Every day is different, with responsibilities ranging from assisting visiting vessels and permanent berth holders to marina maintenance, safety, and operational support.
Weekend work is an essential part of this position, with a roster that includes weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Meet and assist vessels arriving at and departing the marina.
Allocate berths and ensure vessels are safely moored.
Deliver exceptional customer service to marina tenants, visitors, and contractors.
Conduct routine marina inspections and report maintenance requirements.
Maintain marina pontoons, utilities, and common areas to a high standard.
Assist with fuel wharf operations and other marina services.
Monitor marina security and ensure compliance with marina rules and safety procedures.
Operate marina equipment and undertake general maintenance duties.
Assist with emergency response and environmental management when required.
Support the Marina Manager with day-to-day operational activities.
About You
The successful applicant will possess:
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Confidence working around vessels and on floating pontoons.
Basic computer skills.
A current manual driver's license.
A current Queensland Boat License (or willingness to obtain).
Forklift, First Aid, or marine industry qualifications will be highly regarded but are not essential.

Hours of Work
This is a full time rostered position and includes:
Weekend work.
