As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team and support our people function across all areas of the business.
About the Role
We're seeking a hands-on HR Advisor to provide day-to-day human resources support across recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
You'll work closely with department managers and site supervisors to ensure our HR practices are consistent, compliant, and aligned with the needs of a growing manufacturing and trades-based workforce.
This is a varied, fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys being across the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding through to performance and offboarding — in a genuinely operational business.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advice and support to managers on employee relations matters, performance management, and workplace policies
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job ads, screening, interviews, and onboarding
Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, relevant Contemporary Awards, and WA workplace health and safety legislation
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation
Support the development and administration of position descriptions, KPIs, and performance review processes




Assist with employment contracts, variations, and termination documentation
Coordinate training, development, and qualification pathways for staff (including trade-based roles)
Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting
Support workplace investigations and grievance handling as required
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 5 years' experience in an HR advisory, coordinator, or generalist role
Sound working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and Modern Awards
Experience supporting HR functions in a manufacturing, trades, construction, or similar operational environment (highly regarded)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the business
High attention to detail and sound judgement in handling confidential and sensitive matters
Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office (HubSpot experience a plus)
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in a small business environment
