About the role
As the Team Leader of Positive Behaviour Support,



you will provide leadership, supervision and operational support to a team of Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners while maintaining an active caseload.
You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred behaviour support services that align with Autism SA's values, NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements, and contemporary evidence-based practice.
You will support the professional growth of team members, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and promote a culture of clinical excellence and collaboration.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, coaching and support to a team of Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners.
Maintain an active Positive Behaviour Support caseload, including developing behaviour support plans.
Monitor service quality, compliance and documentation in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
Support staff performance, onboarding, career development and reflective practice.
Contribute to operational planning, service improvement initiatives and achievement of team performance goals.
Foster positive relationships with clients, families, support networks and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed




Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Behaviour Support or a related discipline.
Current NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework suitability and experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support services.
Demonstrated experience supporting autistic individuals and people with disability who display behaviours of concern.
Experience supervising, mentoring or leading staff within a clinical or disability setting.
Strong understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework and restrictive practice requirements.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and report writing skills.
High-level organisational and time management skills.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
Current Driver's Licence (C Class).
