About the Role
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Day Therapy Facilitator to support our clients through meaningful activity and leisure programs.
In this role, you will help enhance clients' wellbeing, encourage social engagement, and promote independence, a person centred care.
This permanent part-time position offers regular working hours from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Wednesday, and Friday.

What do you need?
Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance.
Experience working in day therapy, aged care, or a similar environment, with a demonstrated passion for enhancing clients' wellbeing and independence.
Assist in identifying suitable therapeutic services and attendees who may require a review.
Participate in program planning with the Day Therapy Centre Coordinator.




Monitor clients for changes in their physical or mental condition and promptly report concerns to the Day Therapy Centre Coordinator or Registered Nurse on duty.
Work within the limits of your knowledge and ability, referring issues or concerns to the appropriate senior team member.
Coordinate the safe arrival and departure of community and Day Therapy Centre clients.
Maintain accurate records, statistics, and progress notes in accordance with governance requirements.
Attend to the nutritional needs of community clients, including liaising with catering staff as required.
Liaise with and provide direction to volunteers to help meet the needs of attendees.
Demonstrate sound organisational and communication skills.
