About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Risk Assessment Specialist to join a energetic ICT security team.
This role involves conducting comprehensive security risk assessments across various ICT systems, developing security documentation, and advising on best practices to strengthen the department's security posture.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed security risk assessments for government ICT systems, including cloud, legacy, AI, and complex environments.
Develop and review security documentation such as System Security Plans and Security Annexes.
Liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate risks, mitigation strategies, and security recommendations.
Present findings confidently to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for security improvements aligned with government frameworks and standards.
Key Requirements:
3-5 years of experience conducting security risk assessments within a government setting.




Proven expertise with Azure Cloud, legacy systems, AI technologies, and complex ICT environments.
Strong knowledge of PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight security guidelines.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to diverse audiences.
Solid understanding of networking infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Desirable:
Experience with Azure DevOps is an advantage.
