Join the Diamond Care and Disability Services team as a Disability Support Worker.
In this casual role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their local community.
What you'll be doing
Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
Provide emotional support and social engagement to encourage clients' independence and community involvement.
Advocate for clients' needs and liaise with family members, healthcare professionals, and other support services.
Implement personalised support plans and monitor clients' progress, reporting any concerns to the team.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Participate in regular training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Nursing Students recommended to apply.
What we're looking for
Support Workers that live in the Joondalup, Fremantle and Bentley areas.
A relevant qualification in Disability Support, Community Services, or a similar field.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community-based setting.
Demonstrated strong reliability and punctuality by consistently attending shifts on time and providing dependable support to clients.




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with clients.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
A current driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
