About The Role Join the team at the new Nowra Medicare Urgent Care Clinic! We are offering flexible hours to work on a casual basis. Availability for Monday day shifts, between 8am to 3pm (with flexibility), is highly desired. The service operates outside normal business hours, on weekends and public holidays, from 8:00am-10:00pm, seven days a week.

Doctors currently completing Fellowship requirements and close to achieving vocational registration are also welcome to apply.

Duties

/n

/n

- Provide timely, high-quality medical care to patients presenting with acute, non-life-threatening conditions.

/n

- Conduct patient assessments, diagnosing, and initiating appropriate treatment, ensuring effective management of urgent medical needs.

/n

- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and escalate cases

/n





- Ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care within the healthcare system.

Skills & Experience

/n

/n

- Current AHPRA Registration without conditions, undertakings, or reprimands

/n

- Vocational registration as a General Practitioner (FRACGP, FARGP, or FACRRM)

/n

- Experience working in an Emergency Department, Rural General Practice, or Urgent Care Clinic

/n

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/ or Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificate
