AIC Copper seeks an experienced mine surveyor to provide day-to-day survey services to enable mining operations to be conducted efficiently and safely. Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, this position would suit an experienced and technically skilled candidate wanting to work in a small and friendly team setting.
The Core Responsibilities Of This Position Include
- Utilise survey equipment and survey best practices to generate accurate survey data in a timely manner
- Install survey stations for directional control of mining
- Carry out accurate mark‐ups of all designs for horizontal and vertical development
- Produce survey plans and memos as required to a high standard and in a timely manner
- Carry out development pick‐ups and maintain an accurate survey as‐built models
- Conduct CMS surveys as required and validate results
- Complete end‐of‐month surveys (underground and surface)
- Complete small scale aerial survey work across mining leases
- Conduct surface set outs and pickups
