Nucleus Network is expanding, and we are inviting Expressions of Interest from all Medical Officers to help shape & launch our brand-new, purpose-built clinical trials site at the North Shore Health Hub in St Leonards, Sydney. We are thrilled to offer opportunities for a passionatedoctor, HMO or RMO to become part of our innovative and dynamic team at Nucleus Network.

This role is available as a full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) position.

This is a rare greenfield opportunity to join a site from its earliest days - contributing to how it operates, grows, and evolves.

This exciting opportunity allows you to venture beyond the hospital environment into the exciting and fast-developing world of Clinical Trials.

Prior Clinical Trials experience is not necessary - full training and support will be provided.

About Nucleus Network Sydney

Our new Sydney site will be a state‑of‑the‑art facility, designed to support world‑class early‑phase trials and exceptional employee experience.

Located within the North Shore Health Hub, the site offers:

A prime location approximately 600 metres from public transport, making commuting simple and accessible





This site represents a significant investment in the future of clinical research in Australia - and an opportunity to help build something meaningful from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

Leading the informed consent process, making clinical assessments of potential trial participants and determining eligibility for study enrolment

Monitoring participants on studies to optimize participant safety

Provision of medical care to healthy volunteers and patients in Phase I trials

Interpretation of diagnostic test results

Collaboration across Project Management, Clinical Operations, Pharmacy, Laboratory Services, and Quality departments to deliver protected clinical trials that generate high quality data.

Acting as an Investigator for early‑phase clinical trials

What We're Looking For

AHPRA Registered: You have full General AHPRA Registration status with no restrictions as a Medical Practitioner, this is a mandatory requirement
PGY3+: You have completed at least two years of postgraduate medical training.

Passionate Explorer: You're excited about the opportunity to venture beyond the hospital system and dive into the world of clinical research.

Availability: You'll need to be available to work 5 days per week across a 7-day rotating roster. Shifts worked outside of ordinary hours will attract penalty rates.
