About Feeling and Healing Hub

Feeling and Healing Hub is a Registered NDIS Provider specialising in psychosocial disability, mental health and complex support needs.

We work alongside predominately children (9+), adolescents and adults to deliver evidence-informed, recovery-oriented services that genuinely improve quality of life. Our clinicians provide services in participants' homes, within the community, via telehealth and from our beautiful consulting Hub in Lorn.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist with a passion for mental health and psychosocial practice.

The successful clinician will predominantly provide:

Psychosocial Functional Therapy

Functional Capacity Assessments

Recovery-oriented interventions

Capacity building supports

Collaborative multidisciplinary care

This position services Newcastle, Maitland, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, the Lower Hunter and surrounding regions, with flexibility to negotiate your preferred servicing locations.

The successful Occupational Therapist will receive ongoing discipline-specific support from an experienced Senior Mental Health Occupational Therapist with more than 18 years of clinical experience across mental health and psychosocial practice.

Support includes:

Clinical supervision

Case consultation

Functional assessment guidance

Clinical reasoning support

Reflective practice

Collaborative problem solving

Assistance with complex presentations

Professional mentoring and development

Alongside this, you'll become part of an experienced multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, knowledge sharing and supporting one another to provide the highest quality care.

Whether you're an experienced Mental Health Occupational Therapist or looking to further develop within this specialty area, you'll have access to experienced clinical guidance and mentoring to help you build confidence, strengthen your practice and navigate complex presentations.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

AHPRA Registered Occupational Therapist

Passionate about mental health and psychosocial practice

Experienced in, or motivated to develop skills in, Psychosocial Functional Capacity Assessments

Committed to evidence-informed, person-centred practice

Knowledgeable in NDIS systems and processes

Kind, genuine, reflective and compassionate

A collaborative clinician with high professional integrity
