We're seeking an experienced Design Practitioner (VT) to join our dynamic Product Team based in Mascot, NSW. This is a unique prospect to combine your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and regulatory knowledge to make a real impact across our business and the communities we serve.

In this role, you will lead the preparation and verification of regulated designs and issue Design Compliance Declarations (DCDs) under the NSW Design and Building Practitioners (DBP) Act. Collaborating with industry experts, you will drive design excellence to ensure the highest standards of compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction.

What will you be doing?

Work closely with building practitioners, Principal Design Practitioners, and Certifiers to ensure construction activities align with approved designs and regulatory requirements.

Prepare and verify regulated designs and issue Design Compliance Declarations (DCDs) under the NSW Design and Building Practitioners (DBP) Act.

Support the sales and operations teams.

Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders, providing insights and feedback todrive continuous improvement and enhance frontline operations.

Manage design variations efficiently,



maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation to support Building Commission NSW compliance and audit obligations.

Ensure lift, escalator, and moving walkway systems are fully integrated within regulated buildingsand comply with all relevant Building Code of Australia (BCA) requirements.

Provide subject matter expertise and technical support to the wider CSE team on relevant building codes, standards, and compliance requirements.

What are we looking for?

Minimum of 10 years Vertical Transport Engineering experience (minimum of 5 based in Australia).

Registered Design Practitioner(VT) in NSW.

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.

Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence and clarity.

Ability to read technical drawings and translate customer needs into technical specifications.

Proven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team, while managing time and priorities effectively.
