Reporting to the General Counsel and Company Secretary, as a Senior Legal Counsel you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide legal advice on a diverse range of issues across Wes Trac’s business. You will be able to hone your commercial acumen and negotiation skills during strategic contract negotiations critical to Wes Trac’s revenue growth and long-term strategy.

What You'll Do:

- Oversee the negotiation, execution and management of high value, strategic customer sales contracts critical to continued growth.
- Advise on a broad range of matters including disputes and regulatory compliance.
- Provide practical solutions to a diverse range of problems impacting the business.
- Provide thought leadership on legal, risk and compliance matters including the development and provision of training to key stakeholders.
- Ensure Wes Trac’s compliance with legislative requirements by monitoring legislative changes and implementing appropriate compliance programmes and frameworks.

Skills & Experience:

- Robust experience as a qualified legal professional specialising in commercial, corporate, commercial litigation, construction or mining law
- Bachelor of Laws
- Admitted as an Australian Legal Practitioner with a current practising certificate
- Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Robust commercial acumen and sound judgement




- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills in the provision of legal advice
