Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Wintel Engineer to design, build, secure and support Microsoft Windows server environments supporting mission-critical Defence and national security services. This hands-on Level 3 role will focus on engineering, automation, platform lifecycle management and technical assurance within a highly controlled NV2 environment.

Core Responsibilities

- Design, build, configure and maintain Windows Server platforms and supporting infrastructure.

/n

- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, certificate services and identity integrations.

/n

- Automate repeatable administration, build and compliance tasks using Power Shell and configuration tooling.

/n

- Monitor platform health, investigate complex incidents and deliver durable root-cause remediation.

/n

- Apply security hardening, vulnerability remediation, patching and change controls in line with Defence requirements.

/n

- Maintain system designs, build records, operating procedures, risk artefacts and knowledge documentation.

Minimum Required Experience

/n

/n





- Five or more years in enterprise Windows infrastructure or systems engineering.

/n

- Demonstrated Level 3 support experience across highly available Windows Server environments.

/n

- Experience delivering infrastructure changes through formal change, release and configuration management.

/n

- Experience operating in secure government, Defence or other regulated environments.

/n

- Robust troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication capability.

/n/n
