The Opportunity
/n
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced water industry professional to join a growing advisory practice supporting major utility and infrastructure clients across Australia and Recent Zealand.
/n
Working at the intersection of strategy, operations and technical excellence, you will act as a trusted advisor to water utilities,
helping clients solve complex operational challenges, develop long-term asset strategies and improve performance across water treatment and infrastructure networks.
/n
This is a highly visible role that combines technical expertise, stakeholder engagement and commercial acumen, offering the opportunity to influence major investment decisions and shape the future of water services across the region.

Key Responsibilities
/n

- Build and maintain trusted relationships with utility and infrastructure clients.
/n
- Provide strategic and technical advisory support across water treatment, networks, asset management and operational performance.
/n
- Lead and contribute to strategic planning, options analysis, concept development and operational optimisation initiatives.
/n
- Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals.
/n
- Oversee advisory project delivery, coordinating internal subject matter experts and multidisciplinary teams.
/n
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions and technical reviews.
/n
- Identify risks and develop practical mitigation strategies to support project and operational outcomes.
/n
- Support business growth through client engagement and pursuit activities.
/n/n
About You
/n
You are an experienced engineering or water operations professional who combines strong technical capability with exceptional relationship-building skills.
/n
You will bring:
/n
/n
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
/n
- Significant experience within water utilities, water infrastructure, operations or consulting environments.
/n
- Strong understanding of regulatory, environmental and operational frameworks.
/n
- Experience working with public utilities, asset owners and/or major contractors.
/n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
/n
- Ability to translate complex technical challenges into practical and commercially viable solutions.
/n
- Experience leading projects, teams or advisory engagements.
/n
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
/n/n
