Job Description

- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects within the civil infrastructure sector.
- Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine project requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for inclusion in estimates.
- Maintain and update cost databases and records for future reference.
- Present and justify estimates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs and provide updates as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Estimator should have:





- Strong experience in estimating within the civil infrastructure industry
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools. Expert estimation or similar software experience preferred
- A solid understanding of construction methods, materials and market rates.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction management or a related field.
- Ability to work self sufficiently and autonomously
