This is a rare opportunity for an experienced residential or development valuer to move client-side into a highly commercial and strategic role with one of Australia's most successful property groups.
Working across a major portfolio of residential apartment developments, you will use your valuation expertise, market knowledge and commercial judgement to directly influence pricing, inventory strategy, project positioning and revenue outcomes.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and working closely with senior leadership, this newly created role offers genuine exposure to major commercial decisions across the development portfolio.
The Role:
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and reviewing pricing strategies for new and existing apartment projects
- Analysing comparable sales, competing developments and settlement evidence
- Monitoring buyer demand, sales velocity, enquiry levels and market trends
- Recommending price changes, inventory releases and sell-down strategies
- Reviewing project feasibility assumptions and forecasting revenue outcomes
- Maintaining pricing and financial models
- Assessing the financial impact of pricing decisions
- Preparing market intelligence and strategic recommendations for senior management
- Presenting insights and recommendations directly to senior executives
There will also be some exposure to build-to-rent and retail/commercial assets, although the core focus is residential development.
About You:
We are particularly interested in candidates from a residential or development valuation background who are looking to broaden their commercial exposure.
You may currently be working as a Senior Valuer, Associate, Associate Director or similar within a major valuation or property advisory business.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Strong residential or development valuation experience
- Excellent knowledge of the Sydney apartment and development market
- Experience analysing comparable sales and project pricing
- Exposure to development feasibilities and financial modelling
- Strong commercial and analytical capability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
CPV accreditation would be highly regarded.
