About the role:
- Acquisitions and disposals of major property assets and portfolios.
- Property development and large-scale development projects.
- Commercial leasing and asset management matters.
- Cross-border and multi-jurisdictional real estate transactions.
- Alternative asset classes, including data centres, infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
- Coordinating specialist teams across corporate, finance, construction, planning and tax.
- Managing client relationships and providing practical, commercially focused advice.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
- Supporting business development and practice growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate:
- Must be an admitted lawyer with 5+ years post admission experience in real estate
- Strong experience across acquisitions, disposals, development, leasing and asset management.
- The ability to lead complex transactions and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and client relationship skills.
- A commercial, practical and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers.
- An interest in emerging and alternative real estate asset classes.
