Our client is a well regarded and steadily growing co educational Christian College in the Mandurah Peel region, seeking a passionate and capable Secondary Science Teacher to join their community. This is a full time ongoing position.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned to the WA Curriculum and SCSA requirements
- Teach across Years 7 to 12, with ATAR Physics and Chemistry highly regarded but not essential
- Design meaningful assessments and monitor student progress
- Contribute to collaborative planning within the Science department
- Provide consistent pastoral care and build positive relationships with students and families
- Support co curricular activities and contribute to the broader life of the College
- Uphold and actively support the Christian ethos of the school

What we are looking for

- Recognised teaching qualification and hold TRBWA registration or be eligible
- Working With Children Check and commitment to child safety




- Demonstrated experience teaching Secondary Science
- Experience developing and implementing programs from Years 7 to 12
- ATAR Physics and or Chemistry experience preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Approachable and effective communicator who works well within a team
- A personal Christian faith and commitment to active church involvement
- Full Australian working rights
