The role

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well-established global organisation based in Chatswood on an initial 12-month contract.

This role is suited to a technically strong accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to join a cooperative, high-performing finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, managing the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

You will also partner with stakeholders across the business, assist with process improvements, and contribute to the ongoing success of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting.
- Assist with statutory reporting, audit requirements and compliance activities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and finance projects.




- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial support and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.

About You
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or Senior Financial Accountant role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in month-end reporting and reconciliations.
- Experience using large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 or similar.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Available to commence immediately or at short notice.
