Senior Clinical Costing Analyst

About the role
We are looking for a Strategic leader with expertise in Clinical Costing, Activity Based Funding (ABF), and Activity Based Management (ABM), delivering high-quality financial analysis, patient-level costing, and funding optimisation to support organisational performance and executive decision-making.
The Senior Clinical Costing Analyst will work across all sites and services within Wester NSW LHD to ensure the production of timely, robust and comprehensive clinical costing results and meeting the mandatory NSW and Commonwealth clinical costing reporting requirements.
The successful applicant will lead clinical costing and has responsibility for the ongoing maintenance, development and improvement of patient costing processes for all WNSWLHD facilities and services.
The role is responsible for providing accurate and timely costing data as well as providing education to assist senior executive, management and clinicians apply clinical costing data for decision making. This role also has requires managing the clinical costing application infrastructure, contracts and agreements with vendors, Health Support and WNSWLHD ISD.
The successful applicant will be Working with the Performance and Analytics team within the Strategic Reform,
Planning and Partnerships Directorate.
This is a fulltime hybrid working environment with the location negotiable within Western NSW Local Health District.
You will be well supported by the Manager of Performance and Analytics and Executive Director of Strategic Reform, Planning and Partnerships.
