As a Draftsperson with AES, you are responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications that support the manufacture of high-quality truck and body-building solutions

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, models, and technical specifications for water trucks, service vehicles, and body-building components
- Review and revise designs to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements
- Manage engineering documentation using SolidWorks PDM (Product Data Management)
- Collaborate with Operations, Production, and Engineering teams to translate project requirements into practical design solutions




- Support continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies into designs
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian standards and manufacturing requirements

What we are looking for

- Australian Drivers Licence
- Relevant degree or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or drafting
- Experience in a body building / equipment manufacturing business
- In-depth knowledge of welding manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles
- Ability to work collaboratively in team workplace and communicate effectively with colleagues across multiple departments
