Alice Springs Hospital's Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse for a four-week contract from 24 August to 20 September 2026. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-acuity environment in the heart of Alice Springs, NT. The successful candidate will bring emergency nursing expertise to a busy ED, supporting the team through triage, resuscitation, and acute patient care in a quick-paced setting.

- Four-week contract role in Emergency Department nursing at a major regional hospital
- Work in a high-acuity environment with exposure to diverse emergency presentations
- Based in Alice Springs, NT with a supportive, collaborative clinical team

Preferred Requirements

- Minimum two years of equivalent clinical experience in emergency nursing




- Demonstrated competence in emergency triage assessment and patient prioritisation
- Strong resuscitation skills and ability to respond effectively in acute situations
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Ability to work flexibly within a rotating roster in a high-volume ED

Preferred Qualifications

- Recognised post-graduate qualification in Emergency Care Nursing
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent resuscitation certification
- Additional emergency department nursing qualifications or certifications valued
