Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are delighted to be working with an Australian allied health provider involved in multidisciplinary care, behaviour support, and therapy services-primarily serving participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). As they grow, they are seeking to employ a skilled and experienced Developer Programmer to build, maintain, and optimise the digital infrastructure supporting their clinical operations, NDIS compliance, and service delivery.
Location - Geraldton WA (Tarcoola Beach)
Salary - negotiable in the range $80,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per annum
Responsibilities of this full time and ongoing role will include:-
- Build custom electronic health record (EHR) tools to log clinical notes, assessments, and therapeutic interventions.
- Develop structured templates for generating NDIS-compliant Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) and progress reports.
- Automate NDIS service agreement tracking, direct claiming, and invoice generation.
- Ensure real-time alignment with updated NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Guides.
- Develop cross-platform mobile or web applications that allow clinicians to access schedules, record session outcomes offline, and capture client consent in office.
- Integrate GPS routing and appointment optimization tools to streamline mobile clinician schedules.
- Build or maintain secure client/family portals where participants or support coordinators can view upcoming appointments, track budget usage, access therapy resources, and review goal achievements.
- Implement and maintain role-based access controls (RBAC), end-to-end encryption,
and secure database structures.
- Ensuring digital systems strictly adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), the Privacy Act 1988, and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission compliance standards.
- Developing internal analytics tools to track clinician billable hours, intake bottlenecks, client retention, and clinical capacity across different allied health disciplines.
- Maintain technical documentation, system specifications, code repositories, and user manuals.
- Provide user documentation, technical support and train internal operational teams on new software tools and workflow updates.
To be successfully considered we expect to be able to observe:
- Bachelor's degree in a highly relevant field of study, or agreed equivalent;
- At least 1, preferably more of professional experience ideally in the NDIS or allied area of activity;
- Proven experience in modern software development methodologies, secure database management, and building API integrations for health or enterprise systems;
- Exposure to practice management solutions;
- Well developed communications and presentation skills; and
- A current Working with Children Check, or the ability and willingness to obtain one, together with any other clearances required for the position.
