⭐ Assistant Centre Manager | Future Centre Manager Pathway

We're looking for more than an Assistant Centre Manager we're looking for someone who has the potential to become our next Centre Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early childhood leader who is ready for genuine career progression.

You'll work closely alongside our leadership team, gaining hands-on experience across the operational, compliance, people and family aspects of running a successful service.

Our goal is to support the successful candidate to progress into the Centre Manager position towards the end of 2026.

In this role, you'll be involved in:

- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the service

- Leading, mentoring and supporting educators

- Building a positive, respectful and high-performing team culture

- Supporting compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations

- Staffing, rosters and workforce planning

- Family engagement and occupancy

- Incident, complaint and operational management

- Supporting quality educational practice

- Continuous improvement and the Quality Improvement Plan

- Acting as Responsible Person when required

- Building strong relationships with children, families and the wider community

- Developing the knowledge and capability required to successfully step into Centre Management

We're looking for someone who doesn't simply want the title of Centre Manager, but genuinely wants to develop into a confident, capable and supportive leader that is hands on and leads by example. Please note that this role will a contact role with the 2ic being on the floor in ratio.

? Nursery Room Leader

Our Nursery is such an important part of our service,



and we're looking for a nurturing and experienced Nursery Room Leader who understands just how important those first relationships and experiences are.You'll lead a team of educators to create a calm, responsive and engaging environment where our youngest learners feel protected, secure and connected.

You'll be responsible for:

- Leading and supporting your Nursery team

- Creating secure and meaningful relationships with children

- Building strong partnerships with families

- Supporting children's individual routines, development and wellbeing

- Creating beautiful and engaging learning environments

- Leading educational planning and documentation within the room

- Mentoring educators and supporting high-quality practice

- Ensuring children's health, safety and wellbeing remain at the centre of decision-making

- Working collaboratively with the Educational Leader and service leadership team

We're looking for someone who understands that great Nursery practice is about much more than routines it's about relationships, attachment, responsive care and creating a strong foundation for every child's learning journey.

? Kindy Room Leader | 3.5–5 Years

We're also looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Kindy Room Leader to lead our 3.5–5 year learning environment. We want someone who is passionate about preparing children for their next chapter while still protecting what early childhood should be playful, curious, engaging and full of discovery.

You'll have the opportunity to create a program that supports children's independence, confidence, communication, early literacy and numeracy, social development and readiness for school.

As our Kindy Room Leader, you'll:

- Lead and mentor your room team

- Develop engaging, play-based learning experiences

- Support children's individual learning goals and development

- Create opportunities for independence, problem-solving and confidence

- Build strong relationships with children and families

- Lead planning, documentation and reflection within the room

- Support meaningful school-readiness experiences

- Work collaboratively with the Educational Leader

- Create an environment where children are encouraged to explore, question, create and discover

We're looking for someone who can bring energy, creativity and strong educational practice to the room while creating a positive and connected culture for children, families and educators.

What We're Looking For

Depending on the position, you'll hold or be working towards the relevant ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification.

You'll also ideally bring:

- A genuine passion for Early Childhood Education and Care

- A strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework

- Current Working with Children Check

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, where required

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- A positive, solutions-focused attitude

- A willingness to learn and grow

- A genuine commitment to child safety and children's wellbeing

- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
