Unlike many traditional claims positions, this role gives you full ownership of a portfolio from lodgement through to settlement. You'll manage a diverse range of claims across motor, property, and risks, with exposure to everything from straightforward matters through to complex property losses valued at up to $5 million.

This is a role for someone who enjoys investigating, analysing information, making decisions, and solving problems rather than simply processing claims.

As a Claims Specialist, you will:

- Manage a portfolio of approximately 100-120 claims end-to-end
- Conduct investigations, policy interpretation and coverage analysis
- Negotiate settlements and determine policy liability and exclusions
- Handle complex motor, property and farm-related claims
- Build strong relationships with brokers, customers and external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively across Claims,



Underwriting and the wider business
- Deliver fair, efficient and customer-focused outcomes
- Take ownership of claims decisions and drive outcomes from start to finish

You'll work directly with brokers and stakeholders, developing strong relationships and becoming a trusted advisor throughout the claims process.

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates from a variety of General Insurance claims backgrounds.

You'll bring:

- Experience managing General Insurance claims
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- The confidence to make decisions and manage competing priorities
