APG Workforce is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Safety Inspector based in Mill Park, VIC.
This role is ideal for a motivated safety skilled who is passionate about maintaining safe work environments, ensuring WHS compliance, and promoting a robust workplace safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and workplace risk assessments.Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventative actions.Ensure compliance with Australian WHS legislation, company policies, and safety procedures.Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, hazards, and near misses.Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate safety documentation.Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and workplace safety training.Monitor the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain safety registers, inspection records, permits,



and compliance documentation.Work collaboratively with supervisors and employees to improve workplace health and safety.Promote a positive safety culture across all departments.
Skills & Experience
Relevant WHS qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a Safety Inspector, WHS Officer, HSE Advisor, or similar role are essential.Strong knowledge of Australian Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail with robust organisational skills.Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business.Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.Full Australian Working Rights.
