Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate landscape construction projects on site.Work closely with the business owner, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.Mentor and support apprentices and labourers.Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.Read and interpret landscape plans and specifications.Organise materials, equipment, and daily site activities.Ensure projects are completed safely, on time,
and to budget.Carry out all aspects of residential landscape construction, including:Retaining wallsPaving and stoneworkDecking and timber structuresFencing and screeningConcretingIrrigation and drainageTurfing and plantingGeneral site preparation and construction
Essential
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in landscape construction.Robust knowledge of residential landscape construction techniques and best practices.Ability to lead a team and manage daily site operations.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and commitment to quality.Current White Card.Current driver's licence.Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Desirable
Certificate III in Landscape Construction or equivalent trade qualification.Experience in a leading hand or supervisory role.Machinery operating experience.
