Draper's Civil Contracting is seeking an experienced Tilt Tray Driver to join our team in Breakwater, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will involve operating a tilt tray truck to transport equipment and materials to and from various construction sites within the Geelong region.
What you'll be doing
Safely operate a tilt tray truck to load, transport and unload equipment, machinery and materials
Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on the tilt tray truck from our yard in Breakwater
Ensure all loads are securely fastened and comply with relevant safety regulations
Maintain accurate records of jobs completed and hours worked
Communicate effectively with the wider construction team to coordinate deliveries
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
What we're looking for
A valid Heavy Vehicle licence with the appropriate endorsements to operate a tilt tray truck
Advantage to have at least 2 years' experience working as a Tilt Tray Driver in the construction industry
Training will be provided to suitable candidates who demonstrate potential and commitment to learn tilt tray operations
Knowledge of load restraint and safe towing practices
Excellent driving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to workplace health and safety
