Our client is a well-established leader in the crane and heavy logistics industry, seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead operations across multiple sites and a large operational workforce.
This is a fast-paced, high-pressure leadership role requiring someone who is organised, decisive, and confident managing people, performance, and customer expectations.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for leading day-to-day operations across multiple sites, driving safety, productivity and service delivery while managing Operations Coordinators, Compliance teams and a large operational workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Operations Coordinators, Compliance Coordinators and operational staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Oversee the planning and execution of crane movements daily,
ensuring customer requirements are met safely and efficiently.
Coordinate crane, labour and transport resources to maximise utilisation and service delivery.
Drive operational performance through transparent KPIs, accountability and strong people leadership.
Make confident, real-time decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
Build robust client relationships and ensure service expectations are consistently exceeded.
Promote a disciplined, safety-first culture while maintaining compliance across all operations.
About You
Previous Operations Manager or similar leadership experience.
Experience managing large operational teams across multiple sites.
Crane hire, heavy transport, logistics, haulage, equipment hire or construction experience preferred.
Robust leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.
