About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Mixing Operator
to join a leading food manufacturing business based in
Heidelberg West
. This is an excellent chance to secure ongoing Monday to Friday work with the potential to transition to a permanent full-time position after 6 months.
Successful candidates will commence on the
morning shift
for training and onboarding before transitioning to the
afternoon shift in mid-September
.

Key Responsibilities
Operate industrial mixing equipment according to production specifications
Accurately weigh, measure and batch ingredients
Monitor product consistency and quality throughout the mixing process
Complete production documentation and batch records
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the mixing area
Follow all workplace health, safety and food safety procedures
Work collaboratively with production teams to meet daily production targets
Report equipment faults, quality concerns and production issues as required
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Mixing Operator or in a food manufacturing environment
Experience following recipes, batch sheets or production specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Understanding of food safety, GMP and hygiene requirements
Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg
Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing employment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
