North Queensland's mining, construction, industrial, municipal and infrastructure sectors all run on the same thing: reliable water and rotating equipment management. Every site has a challenge, and the people running those sites want one thing above all else — someone who understands the problem and delivers the right solution without the noise.

Our client is a national manufacturer and supplier of premium dewatering, pumping and rotating equipment, with a growing NQ presence following a recent national acquisition. Their product is proven, their range is comprehensive, and the market is primed.

Responsibilities

- Travel the North Queensland region out of Townsville or Gladstone, developing and owning territory sales across mining, industrial, municipal and infrastructure customers
- Protect and grow a $2 million book of existing revenue while driving new business




- Sell the full portfolio in-region — pumps, seals, gaskets, repairs and major capital equipment
- Use everyday service and product wins to open the door to bigger turnkey solutions
- Build long-term relationships with the operators and engineers on-site, not just transactions
- Identify gaps worth bolting on to the portfolio, with scope to product-manage that piece yourself

Who We Need

- A fitter, technician or trade-qualified operator who has since moved into hire or sales OR
- 5+ years in pumping, dewatering or technical sales, with a strong understanding of service
- Someone happiest on the road and on-site, not behind a desk
- A person who leads with service rather than a sales pitch, fully supported by your expert team
- Real and credible over polished — a strong communicator who earns trust rapid
- Willing and able to travel regularly across North Queensland, and someone hungry to make a significant impact while reaping the rewards

The Package

$140,000 – $150,000 base salary + vehicle + super + uncapped commissions, with realistic on-target earnings exceeding $200,000 P.A. This structure was built for serious earning potential — and the right person will use it accordingly.
