About the role

LRH is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Emergency Registrar on a fixed term fulltime basis – 86 hours per fortnight.

The role of the Emergency Registrar is to provide day‑to‑day medical care for patients under the direction of senior medical staff and also work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and high‑quality patient care. The successful applicant will support LRH’s values – Person‑Centred, Respect, Integrity, Excellence and Working Together.

Key responsibilities

- Provide day‑to‑day medical care for patients.
- Work under the guidance of senior medical staff.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and high‑quality care.

Qualifications & requirements

- Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Registration or be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
- Completed and passed AMC Part 1 (Part 2 desirable).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member.
