Physiotherapist Level 1/2 - Rotational, Shoalhaven Hospital Group

Play a key role in providing comprehensive patient care, gain a wide range of clinical skills across multiple sites and join a dedicated team of Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants.

$79,419.00 - $113,301.00 per annum + 12% super & salary packaging | Permanent Full Time | Shoalhaven Hospital Group | REQ | Grade: Physiotherapist Level 1/2 | Applications close: 30 August 2026

Please note:This recruitment will be used to establish an eligibility list of candidates for current and future Physiotherapist vacancies within the Shoalhaven Hospital Group as redevelopment progresses and new services open. Provide and deliver high quality physiotherapy services to health service patients consistent with ISLHD policies, procedures, guidelines and standards while working within a multidisciplinary team.

We are now accepting applications for Physiotherapists to join our team based in the Shoalhaven Hospital Group and out in the community, you will gain experience across a wide variety of clinical areas:

Intensive Care & High Dependency: Provide comprehensive care in High Dependency and Intensive Care Units.

Acute Surgical: Assist patients who have gone through major abdominal surgery, joint replacements and neck of femur fractures.

Acute Medical: Provide care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including acutely deteriorating patients. Manage the care of intubated and non-invasive ventilated patients.

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation: Manage outpatient assessments

Transitional Aged Care (Community): Work closely with the Transitional Aged Care Team to manage aged care patients.

As a part of the program,



you’ll get the opportunity to be the sole Physiotherapist on weekends and public holidays (priority patients across the whole hospital). You’ll be supported by a Senior Physiotherapist, as well as the wider Physiotherapy and multidisciplinary teams, as you conduct your clinical duties (assessment, treatment and education) in a professional manner.

You’ll also participate in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching, education and other relevant departmental activities – all to assist with your career progression.
