About the Business Unit
Emergency Management Victoria (EMV), within the Department of Justice and Community Safety, is responsible for the overall coordination of the emergency management system in Victoria.
EMV drives the integration of policy, strategy, operational coordination, sector specific technology, and planning across Victoria's emergency management sector, contributing to safer, more resilient communities.
About the Role
Some of your duties will include:
Manage and maintain workplace culture and practices that achieve EMVs strategic objectives.
Provide advice to the Lead Planning Officer and Program Manager, EM Planning on communications and engagement strategies in respect to emergency management planning.
Support the management of communications and engagement aspects of EM planning.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in managing complex stakeholder and associated communication needs in a complex, contested a public sector setting.
Knowledge of Victoria's emergency management arrangements.
Qualifications/requirements
A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and misconduct screening.
