Our Above Water Systems team provides engineering & maintenance services to Royal Australian Navy vessels and commercial ships. We're proud to bolster Australia's sovereign capability through operational support to our defence partners. With ongoing training programs and a team of over 500, our people have room to grow and develop an impactful career with us., * Examine drawings or specifications to determine material and equipment requirements
Heat treat metal parts and components
Set up and operate hand and machine tools, and equipment
Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by bolting or riveting

About the Candidate
As a first-year apprentice, we'll expect you to bring the following skills and behaviours:
Sound literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills
Robust communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, at Heights and in Confined Spaces
Hold a General Construction Induction card (White Card)
AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY
A Defence security clearance NV1 is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
