Our client is a growing Australian-owned water and wastewater treatment specialist delivering complex, engineered solutions across municipal, industrial, infrastructure and resource sectors.

Projects include municipal wastewater treatment, PFAS remediation, landfill leachate, industrial wastewater and complex process water applications, utilising technologies across biological treatment, membranes, filtration, chemical treatment and solids handling.

Having recently secured the full design and construct delivery of a $10 million landfill leachate treatment project in Sydney, they are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team.

Position Summary

An opportunity exists for a Process & Commissioning Engineer (Wastewater) based in Western Sydney to support the delivery of a $10 million design and construct landfill leachate treatment project.

Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from design and procurement through installation, construction and commissioning.

This is a predominantly site-based role and would suit a Mechanical,



Process or Chemical Engineer with experience delivering industrial water or wastewater treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the delivery of a $10 million D&C; landfill leachate treatment project
- Assist with the delivery of a Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) treatment plant, including installation and commissioning
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning activities
- Work closely with process, mechanical, electrical and automation teams
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and client interfaces
- Assist with commercial management, project reporting and project controls
- Ensure safe, successful project delivery throughout construction and commissioning

Required Experience

- Engineering qualification (Process, Chemical or Mechanical related)
- Experience delivering industrial water, wastewater or process treatment projects
- Site-based experience supporting construction, installation and commissioning
- Exposure to D&C;, EPC or turnkey project environments
- Solid communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
