About the clientOur client is a large general insurer offering Retail Motor Vehicle Insurance and Commercial Insurance throughout Australia.About the roleThe Enterprise Risk Lead will be responsible for enhancing and managing the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, providing trusted risk advice to stakeholders, delivering meaningful risk reporting, and maintaining the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system to support effective risk management across the organisation.What's RequiredThe roleis looking fora seasoned 2nd line risk professionalwhocouldtake overthe framework, and work collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and address potential risks.More specifically they will have the following skills and experience:Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Law, Risk Management or a related discipline.At least 3+ years' experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Assurance or Internal AuditAdvanced Microsoft suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Ability to analyse different data to identify trends and insights.At least 3 years risk experience across the Financial Services Industry in entities that are APRA regulated.Solid understanding of APRA Prudential Standards CPS220, CPS230, CPS234, Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) and the ISO international standards.A valuable understanding of the General Insurance industry and other relevant laws and legislation that apply to the industry (highly desired)Robust interpersonal and communication skills with a pro‐active approach to problem‐solving and attention to detailThe ability to prepare high quality written reports, policies, procedures, action plans, correspondence and documentationDemonstrated capacity to act independently within established guidelines, using discretion and sound judgementExperience working with systems and/or data, and the ability to quickly learn and understand how to work with current systemsWhat's on OfferHybrid workingA great culture
