Job Description

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in keeping our fleet protected, compliant, and running efficiently. Working from our workshop and across operational sites, you'll carry out preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and complete repairs on a wide range of heavy vehicles including tankers, trucks, and specialised equipment. It's a hands on role where your expertise will directly minimise downtime and keep our operations moving.

- Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance across heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
- Perform repairs and overhauls on engines, transmissions, brakes, and key components.
- Maintain accurate service and compliance records in line with NHVAS requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external workshops to ensure effective maintenance outcomes.

About the Candidate

You're a trade-qualified mechanic with strong diagnostic skills and a practical,



solutions-focused mindset. You take pride in your work, value safety and compliance, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.

- Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with experience across trucks, trailers, or tankers.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and experience using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Solid understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements in heavy vehicle maintenance.
- High attention to detail with accurate record keeping and electronic data entry skills.
- Current driver's licence (HR or MC licence highly regarded) with a team-oriented, proactive approach.
