We are looking for reliable female Support Workers who can build robust relationships, follow support plans and provide consistent, high-quality care.About the roleCasual shifts are currently available in Reservoir and Tarneit, with opportunities for additional work across Melbourne.Current supports include:regular Monday and Wednesday after-school shifts in Reservoirpsychosocial and capacity-building support on Mondays and Fridays in Tarneitfuture weekday, evening, weekend and relief shifts.Duties may include:school pick-up and transport;supporting routines, transitions and community access;emotional regulation and positive behaviour support;psychosocial recovery and independent-living goals;prompting with meals, hygiene,
dressing and medication routines;accurate and timely progress notes and communication with families and the Te Cepi team.We are looking for someone whois reliable, punctual and available for ongoing work;remains calm and skilled when participants are distressed;can support autism, emotional dysregulation and psychosocial disability;follows support plans and skilled boundaries;communicates clearly and completes accurate progress notes;is willing to support multiple participants and travel to different suburbs.Essential requirementsCertificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or a related fieldCurrent NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent Employee Working with Children CheckFirst Aid and CPRAustralian driver licenseReliable vehicle with comprehensive insuranceAustralian working rightsExperience in autism, positive behaviour support, mental health or psychosocial disability is highly regarded.What we offerCompetitive casual rates in accordance with the SCHADS Award, based on classification, qualifications and experience.
