The applicant must be team player and maintain high health and safety standards.Responsibilities:Portion, trim, debone, and package meat according to customer specificationsCut, trim meat to prepare meat in cooking formOperates meat processing machines such as slicers and tenderisersMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of all meat room equipment and workspacesEnsure all cuts meet company and customer quality standardsMonitor inventory and assist with stock rotationAdhere to all food safety and workplace safety guidelinesMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in meat preparationOther duties as assigned by the managementAbout You:Fully Qualified ButcherProven experience as a butcher in a wholesale or high-volume environmentAbility to work in cold environmentsSkilled in the use of knives, saws, and other cutting toolsUnderstand all aspects of food safetyStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.Solid knowledge of meat cuts, yields, and trimming techniquesPhysically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg)Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and detail-orientedWhat We Offer:Competitive payComprehensive training and support.A positive and cooperative work workplace.Generous employee discounts on Superior Food Services productsAccess to WHEREFIT discounts (health, fitness, and wellness perks)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
