We are seeking an entrepreneurial, self‑motivated Project Manager to lead and grow our luxury retail facade business and operation in Australia. This is a unique opportunity for a hands‑on leader with a start‑up mentality to establish our brand as the go‑to retail contractor for luxury stores and bespoke architectural solutions in the Australian market.

About the Role

In this role, you will take full operational and financial responsibility for executing luxury retail projects from start to finish. The position carries a primary focus on the turnkey delivery of global luxury retail brands, covering internal/external facades, premium fit outs, custom millwork, and pop‑up installations. Secondary delivery scopes include bespoke facades and specialized fit‑out works for hospitality, commercial lobbies, luxury villas, architectural features (podiums, skylights), and key specialty product supply (custom lighting, glass, logos).

Responsibilities

1. Business Development, Tendering & Market Growth

Drive sustainable business growth in Australia by identifying high‑value opportunities, leading local tender strategies with our global HK teams, and expanding our market presence. You will cultivate strong relationships with key luxury accounts across the region while collaborating on Pre‑Construction Services to convert early engagements into main contracts.

2. Project Delivery & Site Management

Take full operational and financial ownership of specialized retail facade projects, leading them from initial design through to site installation and handover while strictly managing P&L;,



safety, and quality standards. You will oversee site operations, manage subcontractors, and act as the primary technical problem‑solver to ensure seamless execution in compliance with Australian building codes.

3. Stakeholder Alignment & Operations Leadership

Serve as the primary liaison connecting global leadership, clients, and local contractors, while building a reliable subcontractor network across major Australian cities. Operating with a lean, startup mindset, you will bridge global support teams with local operations and mentor your team as the business scales.

4. Post‑Handover, Legacy & Maintenance (5‑10% of business)

Manage post‑handover operations by coordinating defect resolutions, landlord approvals, and final cash collections with the central QS team. Additionally, you will oversee ongoing maintenance works to drive client retention and uncover new business opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience Required

- 10+ years of construction project management experience, with a proven track record working within a specialist subcontractor or facade engineering (lump sum contracting) setting.
- Direct experience delivering premium storefronts or facade structures for luxury retail brands is highly advantageous.
- University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Deep familiarity with the Australian construction landscape, including local building codes, site safety standards, and an established network of regional subcontractors.
