About the Role
- Register certificates and process payments of accounts and weekly payments received on behalf of employers, injured workers, providers and the Victorian WorkCover Authority in relation to injured worker’s compensation claims.
- Manage weekly payment of entitlements.
- Perform data entry for individual claims portfolios.
- Deal with high risk calls with patients.
- Process claims requests in adherence to company policies, laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience within a medical or corporate environment.
- Robust written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with patients, medical, paramedical and legal practitioners.
- Sensitivity to issues related to people with medical, cultural and social needs.
- Technically capable of working across multiple platforms and self-sufficient with troubleshooting systems.
- Claims management processing abilities – e.g., file noting.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing, sometimes high‑pressured environment.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
