About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Shift Manager to lead our team of associates at the AMZL Exchange Point in Heathwood, QLD. The role requires motivating, mentoring, and coaching a team while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and accurately.

Salary Range: AUD 79,423 to AUD 125,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop a team of Amazon associates.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards and promote a safety culture on-site.
- Collaborate with support teams—including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources—to develop plans that meet business objectives.
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and apply Lean tools.
- Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
- Stand and walk for up to 10 hours during shifts.
- Lift, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach varying weights as required.

Basic Qualifications

- Working experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience as a manager involving sizable teams; natural at motivating others and building strong relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in problem‑solving and analytical capabilities, including conducting and driving Dive Deep analysis on complex processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.




- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to work weekends and/or shifts regularly.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications—including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification.
