About Our School

Trinity College is a co‑educational Catholic college with an enrolment of over 960 students from Years 7‑12. The College is administered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane through the Brisbane Catholic Education Office and is a member of Marist Schools of Australia. Summary

Trinity College, Beenleigh is seeking a dedicated School Officer (Classroom/General Learning Support) to support student learning and work collaboratively with teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

- Location: Trinity College – Beenleigh (S)
- Contract: 30th July 2026 – 18th September 2026
- Work hours: 30.00 hours per week
- Salary: School Officer Level 3 – $34.17/hr + super
- Type: Term Time Fixed Term

About the Prospect

- Assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students, including the use of technology and learning support activities
- Monitor the progress of students and identify learning areas to provide evidence‑based intervention strategies




- Improve student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services
- Document observation notes and intervention programs, and assist in the collation and preparation of classroom materials

About You

- Strong skills in planning, preparing and delivering effective teaching programs
- Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence‑based interventions
- Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes
- Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups
- Proficient in documenting observations and managing intervention programmes, and preparing classroom materials
- Certificate III in Education Support
- Not required to be Catholic for this position

Eligibility and Safeguarding Requirements

- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
