Asuria is a leading provider of Employment Services in Australia, dedicated to connecting individuals with sustainable employment opportunities. Responsibilities

- Provide individually tailored assessments (including mental health assessments), psychological interventions and counselling services to participants of the Workforce Australia Services program.
- Deliver services via telehealth or video counselling for remote clients.
- Provide vocational guidance and skills training, including goal setting and problem solving.
- Engage in case conferences with internal teams to ensure continuity of care during the client’s engagement with the service.
- Provide advocacy and referrals to external services.
- Support and assist in organising job capacity assessments for job seekers with Centrelink.
- Provide telephone crisis assistance and post-placement support to clients who are employed but whose job is at risk.

Qualifications

- Relevant Allied Health degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counselling) and current registration with the appropriate registration or association body (e.g., Ahpra, AASW, ACA, PACFA).
- Experience working with a diverse range of client presentations, including mental health, psychosocial issues, substance use, personal development, anger management and vocational assessments.
- Experience delivering both face-to-face and Telehealth services, with knowledge of evidence-based assessments and psychological interventions (e.g., cognitive-behavioural therapy, interpersonal therapy, solution-focused therapy,



motivational interviewing).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including case notes and report writing.
- Ability to work within a diverse team and across various programs of support and ages (15-65 years).
- Ability to manage a client caseload, appointments and work independently.

A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID to access Government data aligned to the role.
