Our Marketing team plays a key role in shaping how we show up in the market, spanning brand, corporate communications, marketing, PR, digital channels, events and campaigns to ensure our projects, people and partnerships are represented with clarity and impact.

Based in our Sydney head office, this is a newly created role that reflects the growth of both our business and our team. It’s an exciting opportunity for a communications qualified who wants to do more than deliver great work. You’ll play a key role in:

As a Communications Specialist, you’ll support the strategic development and delivery of communications and marketing initiatives that engage clients, industry, shareholders and our people across SHAPE and its businesses. Working closely with the Manager - PR and Brand and key stakeholders, you’ll help translate our strategy into clear, compelling communications that strengthen our brand and support key business priorities.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide variety of communications while helping shape how the function grows over time, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys building, improving and finding smarter ways to deliver impact.

Key responsibilities:

- Supporting the development and rollout of SHAPE’s brand framework and consistent messaging across SHAPE and its businesses
- Developing clear, engaging content that tells the SHAPE story across corporate, digital and marketing channels
- Planning and delivering multi‑channel marketing campaigns that support growth and brand awareness
- Supporting strategic and corporate communications, including reports, presentations and executive messaging
- Coordinating external events such as client events, industry functions and investor site tours




- Assisting with PR and media relations, including drafting press releases and managing enquiries

What you’ll bring:

You’re a natural storyteller who enjoys working across teams to turn ideas into clear, engaging communications. You’re organised, proactive and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.

- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or similar
- 3–5 years’ experience in a B2B communications, PR or marketing role
- Strong storytelling and content development capability across corporate and marketing contexts
- Experience developing and delivering communication strategies across digital and external channels
- Exposure to media relations, including drafting press releases, is advantageous
- Experience with CRM platforms or digital marketing tools is desirable
- Collaborative approach and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
