Permanent part‑time (6 days per fortnight) role for an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse. Currently based in Wahroonga, the nurse will be part of a highly dedicated Community Palliative Care team that provides evidence‑based nursing care and advice to patients with palliative care needs. The environment is stimulating with a supportive team, where multidisciplinary collaboration and ongoing learning are encouraged. About you
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Experience working in the specialty area of palliative care in an inpatient setting or community (desired).
- At least three years post‑graduate experience and/or working towards a post‑graduate palliative care qualification.
- Evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in daily practice as a registered nurse.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing career development.
- Computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.
- Effective time‑management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
